Claire George

Claire is an accomplished young performer with both Australian and International credits in Music Theatre, Cabaret, Film and Television. Born and raised in Melbourne, Claire began her training at a young age and furthered her studies at the University of Ballarat Arts Academy, gaining a Bachelor of Arts in Music Theatre. Claire’s versatility as a singer, dancer, and actor has seen her work extensively throughout the world. For Disney, she has performed in Japan, Canada, the USA, and the Bahamas. She has been privileged to be a part of Disney’s newest main stage musicals, Villains Tonight and Toy Story: The Musical, as well as portray the characters and sing the classic songs that shaped her musical upbringing. 

Theatre credits include Wicked (GFO), Crazy For You, Sugar!, Anything Goes (The Production Company), Saturday Night (Magnormos) in the role of Helen, and the Australian tour of The Boy From Oz (TPC/Foundation Theatricals) where she played the role of Peter Allen’s back-up singer Karen. Television appearances include Neighbours, Rove Live, Dancing With the Stars, and she can be seen in the feature film Irresistible. Claire sang the National Anthem at the Men’s Final of the Australian Open, and has performed as a solo vocalist at numerous events in Australia and throughout China. Claire is thrilled to be returning to the Emerald City, having understudied and performed the role of Glinda on tour throughout Singapore and Korea.
