    We know things can change, so in the event that you can no longer attend the performance of WICKED on your chosen date, processes have been implemented to provide a stress-free exchange experience. Tickets can be exchanged up to a minimum of 7 days prior to your scheduled performance date subject to the Terms and Conditions below:

    Ticketmaster Ticket Exchange Policy

    1. Exchange must be completed a minimum of 7 days prior to your scheduled performance date, if a request is received within the 7 days an exchange cannot be applied.
    2. If exchange request is due to illness, you must contact Ticketmaster no later than 10am for Matinee, or 12pm for evening performance and proof of illness is required, if request is received after these times the exchange cannot be applied.
    3. Tickets can only be exchanged for a performance of WICKED and in the same theatre as your original tickets.
    4. Tickets may be exchanged into any other performance on sale at time of exchange, subject to seat availability, blackout dates, capacity, and other restrictions.
    5. Ticket exchanges are only available for tickets purchased through the authorised ticket sellers for the venue. Exchanges are not available for tickets purchased through “Re-Sale Sites”.
    6. For tickets purchased for:
      Sydney – Contact Ticketmaster Customer Service at www.ticketmaster.com.au/support.
    7. Tickets can be exchanged into “like for like” performances of WICKED, eg: Wednesday evening into another Wednesday evening etc. If your preference is to attend on a different day or time of the week additional fees may apply.
    8. Tickets can only be exchanged into the same price category and cannot be downgraded however, tickets can be upgraded to a higher price type with additional payment to cover the upgrade, subject to availability.
    9. Any special offers or discounts are not valid for exchanged tickets.
    10. Complimentary tickets and resold tickets are not eligible for exchange.
    11. All tickets are non-refundable. If however, your performance of WICKED is cancelled or rescheduled, you will be offered the option to receive a refund or transfer your tickets into a new performance.

    Marriner Group Ticket Exchange Policy

    Ticket exchanges MAY be available for this event. Requests can be submitted via customerservice@marrinergrouip.com.au or phone 1300 11 10 11, option 3, between Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. Please note:

    All requests must be made no later than 7 days prior to start of the ticketed performance.

    Only 1 exchange per event will be allowed.

    A per ticket exchange fee of $8.40 applies up to a maximum of $25.20 per exchange transaction.

    All requests are subject to availability at the time of exchange and must be of equal value of the original ticket(s) purchased.

    If you wish to exchange to a higher priced ticket(s), you will be required to pay the full price of your new tickets, plus the applicable exchange fees and then a credit will be applied on your original date tickets.

    No exchanges or refunds can be provided after the deadlines listed above or after a performance date unless required by applicable law.

    Exchanges may also be available if the performance is postponed or rescheduled.

    We can only assist customers who purchased their tickets via Ticketek, the authorised ticket seller for all Marriner Group venues (Regent Theatre, Comedy Theatre, Princess Theatre and Forum Melbourne) or through approved partners.

    If you purchased tickets through any other channel, please contact the seller directly.

  • Who are the authorised ticket sellers?

    If searching for tickets to WICKED online, you will see a number of re-sale sites advertising tickets, usually at a higher price than the official site. If you attend a performance of WICKED with a ticket purchased via an unauthorised re-seller such as Viagogo, eBay, Gumtree, or others, you may be refused entry.

    The authorised sellers for WICKED is Ticketmaster. We also work in partnership with TIX Group and various tourism partners.

    NSW Scalping Legislation advises it is illegal to resell a ticket for more than 110% of the face value of the ticket, therefore to avoid issues on the day we encourage all ticket purchases to be completed through the authorised sellers only.

    WICKED has been granted a major event ticketing declaration under the Major Events Act 2009.
    Under the Major Events Act 2009 (Vic), it is illegal for a ticket to be resold, or offered or advertised for resale, for more than 10% above the face value purchase price of the ticket, unless the seller is authorised in writing by the event organisers.
    Breaching this Act can result in heavy fines up to $115,386 for an individual and $576,930 for a company.
    Purchasing a ticket from an unauthorised seller can result in the ticket holder being denied entry to the event.

  • How long is the performance?

    The show is 2 hours and 45 minutes, including one 15-minute intermission.

  • What is the age recommendation?

    Recommended age for children is 8 and up. Please be aware that all patrons, regardless of age, must have a ticket.

  • Are smoke and strobe lights used during the performance?

    Loud noises, flashing lights, smoke effects and strobe lighting feature in the production.

  • What if I am late for a performance?

    Latecomers can only be admitted at a suitable break in the performance, which is approximately 20- 25 minutes after the start of the show. We urge all patrons to leave plenty of time to travel to the venue to avoid missing any part of the show.

    Please note, no refunds are issued to patrons arriving late.

  • Is there an Audio Described performance?

    Vision Australia WICKED Audio Described performance – Sunday the 10th of December 1pm, for ticket purchases please call accessibility line 1300 446 925.

    Audio description is the auditory narration of visual representations such as live performances. During gaps in dialogue, it describes visual elements such as scenes, settings, actions, and costumes using headphones, It is particularly beneficial to people who are blind and vision impaired and people with print, learning and physical disabilities.
